With each project, we are inspired to design spaces that capture the unique essence of the place. Creating moments of connection, of delight and surprise. We look beyond the project boundaries to learn about the local cultures, ecosystems, history…giving us a deeper understanding of the rich complexity offered by each project, informing our process and design.

As landscape architects we have the opportunity and responsibility to design sustainably. This means respecting and preserving natural systems and ecosystems, designing for wildlife, and selecting appropriately sourced materials. We have extensive experience preserving specimen trees, relocating when necessary, and establishing growing nurseries for native plants to be used within the project site. In our experience, these steps end up saving clients’ money while preserving much of the native landscape, allowing projects to sit lightly upon the land.

We’re hands-on with all aspects of the project…from the initial meetings, the site charettes, studio interaction, presentation through to the final moments of placing the trees.
